Complete Your Block Yard: Supporting Equipment and Accessories

A block yard is more than just the blockmaking machine. Hydraform supplies the full production line equipment you need to run an efficient, high-output operation. From material preparation to quality control, every piece works together.

Pan Mixers

Available in 100L, 120L, 200L, 350L, and 500L capacities. The M10 includes a 300L pan mixer. Essential for blending soil, cement, and water to achieve the correct consistency for quality block production.

Rotary Screens

Remove stones, roots, and debris from raw soil before it enters the mixer. Clean material produces stronger, more consistent blocks and reduces wear on your machine. Available as an optional addition to the M10 system with a conveyor belt.

Genuine Spare Parts

Moulds, seals, hydraulic components, and consumables — all available through Hydraform’s global parts network. Genuine parts keep your M10 running at peak performance and protect your 12-month warranty. Beware of counterfeit alternatives.

Frequently Asked Questions About Hydraform Block Yards

The M10 produces up to 6,000 interlocking blocks per 8-hour shift. It is a semi-automated system with a double chamber, pneumatic loader, 300L pan mixer, and two conveyors for material movement. Actual output depends on soil quality, mix ratios, operator experience, and curing conditions.
Hydraform interlocking blocks are made from locally available soil, a small percentage of cement (typically 8-10%), and water. The soil should be screened through a rotary screen to remove stones and debris. No expensive aggregates like river sand or crushed stone are required, which keeps input costs low.
The M10 comes with the dual-chamber blockmaking machine, 300L pan mixer, 200-litre air compressor, hydraulic power rack, two conveyors, a block cutter, block tester, and a free mould. Optional extras include a rotary screen with conveyor for material preparation. Training at our 5-day Academy in Johannesburg is also available.
Yes. Hydraform runs a 5-day Training Academy at our Johannesburg headquarters. The programme covers machine operation and maintenance, soil testing, mix ratios, block production techniques, quality control (using the included block tester), curing methods, and business management fundamentals. On-site training can also be arranged at your block yard.
The M10 produces seven block types by swapping moulds: 220mm Standard (load-bearing), 180mm Standard (single storey), 150mm Standard (non-load bearing), 140mm Semi-Interlocking, Long Blocks (corners), 220mm Conduit (electrical/seismic), and 220mm Capping (wall caps and sills). This allows your yard to supply every construction requirement.
Every Hydraform machine includes a 12-month warranty covering defects, faulty parts, and workmanship from the date of delivery. We also provide ongoing technical support (remote and on-site), genuine spare parts through our global distribution network, and business support guidance. Our aim is to keep your production running.
